"Little Feather" the horse is half Percheron Draft and half Friesian making a very beautiful black mare. Friesians by the way are Martha Stewart's horse of choice. Click here to read about Martha's new horse she purchased recently. We personally own an Appaloosa mare, another wonderful breed, but Little Feather is definitely a favorite of ours.

Truly one of the joys of riding is going in this style, this time of year. I just love this photo Audrey's trainer took of my daughter riding over the weekend and sent to me. This horse's name is "Little Feather" but she is certainly not little. We love her. She is smart and gentle as a lamb. Outside of our own horse Faye I believe Feather is Audrey's favorite to ride.
